About

I’m Alex Kydd, an Australian travel and nature photographer and filmmaker with over a decade of experience capturing the world’s wild and remote places. My work spans everything from polar landscapes to life beneath the surface, with a focus on creating authentic, cinematic visuals that feel honest and timeless.

With a background in Marine Biology, I bring a deeper understanding of the environments I work in. My approach goes beyond aesthetics, documenting real moments, natural systems, and the sense of adventure that comes with exploring these places.

Alongside client work, I lead photography expeditions to destinations around the world, giving others the opportunity to learn, explore, and experience these environments firsthand. Whether I’m collaborating with global brands or working on personal projects, my aim is always the same, to tell meaningful stories that inspire people to connect with and protect the natural world.
